We accelerated the growth process of Glocalzone with the user acquisition strategy we developed. While the mobile app download cost (CPI) decreased by 22%, we gained 53% more active members with the same marketing budget.
Challenge
Glocalzone started working with a focus on mobile user acquisition with their last investment round. Since the business model is a global marketplace, it is key to maintain the supply-demand balance while acquiring new users. Also it is not easy to reach the target audience with traditional methods as they need to have a very specific need.
SOLUTION
We started by defining potential user profiles and use cases as we needed to find users who have the problem which Glocalzone claims to solve. We created detailed behavioral and demographic segments. We started using first, second and third party data to target these micro segments across ad channels. We differentiated ad creatives and USPs based on micro segments.
RESULTS
We acquired 53% more users with the same marketing budget by lowering CPI 42%. As the cost per mobile app install has decreased, we generated 56% more installs than targeted.
